"Let's Get Started Reaching Your Educational Goals!"

Greetings!!! My name is Dr. Kavonye E. Laremore, and I am a licensed K-6 educator who has been teaching various students (for over a decade) with consistent student growth and mastery! I have had this success because I start where my students are as learners, help them to set learning goals, and celebrate with them as they meet their goals along the way. If you want a teacher who helps students develop reading strategies and test-taking skills to use in any subject, and ensures that students have fun and learn at the same time, then contact me to schedule a session!

Subjects
Elementary Math
I can tutor Elementary Math because I am a licensed K-6 teacher. Specifically, I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade math. However, I have subbed K-5 where I taught math as well.

Elementary Science
I can tutor Elementary Science because I taught science to 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Again, I have subbed K-5.

English, Grammar, Proofreading, Public Speaking, Reading, Vocabulary and Writing
I can teach English because I taught English to 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. Particularly, I was an RTI reading teacher for struggling readers. I also was a 5th and 5th grade Reading teacher for the grade level where I taught grammar and writing as well.

Common Core
I can teach Common Core Test Prep because I worked in a school system that taught Common Core. I also taught as a tested grades teacher. My state scores were always high for Reading. I am very familiar with such strategies as Reciprocal Reading, Close Reading, CUBES (Math), and using Rigor.
